On Friday, August 19 Muhammad Mosque # 78 of Jackson, MS hosted The Southern Regional Student Minister of The Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan and The Nation of Islam,   Min. Abdul Sharrieff Muhammad as he traveled the State of Mississippi on a “Get On The Bus” tour.  During his address Min.Sharrieff covered several issues while emphasizing three key points; “Who will stand up for Justice”,  The Remembrance of the Million Man March” and The 16th Anniversary of The Million March Man (Get On The Bus).

Every since I proposed the idea to invite Minister Louis Farrakhan to the second edition of the Bev Smith Town Hall Meeting, “The Disappearing Black Community, How Can we Get It Back” I have been learning lessons. Lessons of intolerance, lessons of unforgiveness,  lessons of implied political pressure, and the ultimate lesson that no matter how you want to feel, African Americans are still not able to chart their own destiny in America.

It’s only been a few days since the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan delivered his annual Saviours’ Day keynote address on Feb. 27th at the Allstate Arena. As expected, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) released its rebuttal of the Minister’s phenomenal four hour message and the pundits have weighed in on what he said regarding Muammar Gaddafi.
